Our family loves to get out and do things. One way we save money is to go out in our local area and find free or cheap things to do. One thing we like to do is go walking. This past weekend our whole family decided to go out to a local hiking trail and walk in about a mile and then walk out. We all had fun doing this this past weekend. We even brought the dog along with us.
Sometimes you might have to think outside the box and get creative with your ideas in order to come up with cheap things to do in your area.
Some of our favorite cheap things to do are:
- Walk on nature trails
- Walk on the beach
- go to the walking track and do a few laps
- go to a local park and let the kids play
- some museums in our area are free
- fishing
Our family loves to hike. We are lucky there are tons of free areas close to us that we can take advantage of.
